SAILOR PENG designs and produces in Switzerland and Germany, with selected collaborations emerging through residencies and periods spent working abroad.

The studio works primarily with sterling silver, gold and carefully selected gemstones. Precious metals are sourced from established suppliers in Switzerland and Germany, while gemstones are selected through specialist dealers and trusted international sources, with an emphasis on quality, authenticity and traceability where available.

Materials are chosen not only for their appearance, but for their lasting qualities and potential to be maintained, restored and reworked over time. Made to be worn, lived with and kept.

Each design takes shape through sketching, digital modelling, prototyping and traditional goldsmithing techniques. Depending on the piece, production brings together contemporary manufacturing methods and careful hand finishing.

The studio favours considered production and limited runs over speed.
